Love & Hate

I love his analysis and I hope you do too.

The Trucking Monk

I am shocked! I think I have discovered one of the reasons there is such discord between Christ followers and unbelievers. We have wildly different definitions of words.

First this is how the words are defined to the world (from Merriam Webster):

Love

  • strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties
  • attraction based on sexual desire :  affection and tenderness felt by lovers
  • affection based on admiration, benevolence, or common interests
Hate
  • intense hostility and aversion usually deriving from fear, anger, or sense of injury
  • extreme dislike or antipathy
  • an object of hatred

And this is how I have always understood them to be defined:

Love, whether used of God or man, is an earnest and anxious desire for and an active and beneficent interest ins the well-being of the one loved.
The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia.

Hatred: A feeling of strong antagonism and…

Are you ready to fly?

This is how God expects us to depend on HIM for our daily bread. Unfortunately, rebels are against this. Are you a rebel, against God or a lover? Whichever side you’re on, you bear the consequence or benefits.

Heart Murmurs

baby-birds-in-nest-thumb22360031

In the past week, this image has been on my heart.

We are familiar with this picture of helpless baby birds, screaming for food from harried and worn parents who fly back and forth finding food and stuffing it into their hungry, gaping mouths as quickly as possible. Blind and naked, these babies need feeding in order to survive.

Obvious, right?

My question is, how long do baby birds stay like that? Do we see these birds still blind, naked and screaming for someone to feed them months later?

Hardly. We expect to see these baby birds grow, get feathers, and fill out. Then they stand on the edge of the nest, testing their freshly feathered wings and one day, they fly out into the world.

So why are we content, in the church, to remain like blind little birds squawking for feeding?

When do we grow up and become

Beautiful Gothic Revival Architecture in Old Town of Orange

GOTHIC REVIVAL ARCHITECTURE

One of my favorite places is Old Town of Orange, I took a friend for a Photography walk during a late noon few months ago and it was great. We found a gothic revival architecture feel of a church building that goes back to the late 1800’s. Eventually our jaw-dropping captions didn’t stop and here are few photos of light reflections on that beautiful building.

The church’s name is St. John’s Lutheran Church with a beautiful facade in old town of Orange and is located on 154 South Shaffer Street, Orange,  CA 92866 if you want to pay it a visit.

SATANIC MINISTRIES

MEMORISE: ‘The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.’ (John 10:10)
READ: 2 Corinthians 11:12-15

The last days are here. Satan’s time is almost up. His strategies to deceive have multiplied and he works round the clock. Having tried so many avenues, he came into religion and began to multiply them. He is the founder of all religions, except the Christian faith. And he has also counterfeited Christianity to the extent that only the Spirit of God in a discerning seeker knows the truth, which all the religions claim to be.

He did not stop there. Presently, more than ever, there is a massive infiltration into the church of God by his agents. They can be found holding many different offices in Gospel churches. Each has a satanic assignment to unleash on the unsuspecting believers with whom they have fellowship and live communally. It takes the gift of discerning of spirits, intense praise and worship, serious prayers and fasting, a daily life of holiness and a good knowledge of God’s word to uncover and successfully deal with these. Job 1:6 says: ‘Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.’ What do you think satan or his agents come to church for? To repent and serve God? No! To carry out their wicked plans to steal, kill and destroy (2 Pet 2:1-3).

In the parable of the wheat (Matthew 13:24-30), after the good seed was sown, the enemy crept in while men slept and planted tares in their midst. satan’s purpose is to sow tares into your life. Tares are very much like wheat! His plan is to subtly steal the genuine faith you have in Christ, destroy your prayer life blind you from seeing into the spirit realm, shift your focus from heaven to earth, shift your gaze and dependence from Christ to man (maybe your pastor or leader) and replace those valuables with counterfeit.

Watch out. Jesus says you shall know them by their fruit. Time to wake up. Keep your secrets to yourself. Ask God to choose your friends for you. Ask God to open your eyes to see people in their true colours. And where moves are made on you to go satanic cults, open sin or flagrant disobedience to God, run for your life. Seek help from servants of God

ACTION POINT
Plead with God to arrest and expose every satanic agent in the church
and to let their satanic mission meet with his fire.

CIVIC RESPONSIBILITIES

MEMORISE: ‘Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.’ (Rom 13:7)
READ: Romans 13:1-8

Law enforcement agents play a very significant role in any country. They are saddled with the task of securing lives and property and ensuring peace and stability. In fact, the Bible calls them ‘Ministers of God’ sent to execute vengeance on lawbreakers. Without them a nation will face anarchy and everyone will be free to do what he or she likes. We ought to appreciate and thank God for them.

According to Scripture we are commanded to obey the laws of the land or face the consequences (1 Pet 2:13-15). For instance, God frowns when traffic regulations are broken. Similarly it is wrong to default in praying taxes to the government. As responsible citizens, believers should be faultless concerning their civic responsibilities (Matt 17:24-27)

In politics, Christians have the right to determine who governs them. If they fail to exercise that right by casting their votes for the preferred candidates, they lose their power of influence. And as a result, they should not complain when the wrong people are voted into power. Speaking evil about those in authority is not part of your civic rights (2 Pet 2:10). God expects you to submit to the laws of the land as long as they do not violate God’s superior laws (Tim 3:1-2). When things are going wrong, God expects you to intercede for those in authority (1 Tim 2:1-4). You should shine forth as a light for others to see.

For those in authority, be informed that God has allowed you to occupy that position. You are there to serve and make life better for all in the nation. God expects you to deal ruthlessly with evil and promote righteousness. But if you begin to use the power vested in you against those you were meant to serve, you are on your own. Remember, the evil seeds a man sows will be reaped not only by him, but for four generations in his lineage. Why not rather serve the people and earn a good name, which is priceless before God?

ACTION POINT
Reflect on how you can use your position, wealth and
endowments to benefit mankind and glorify God.
